What is Florida Forever?
Florida Forever is the nation's largest environmental land acquisition program. More than two million acres throughout the state have been placed in public ownership under Florida Forever and its predecessor program, Preservation 2000.

Funding for the Florida Forever program was eliminated by the Legislature for fiscal year 2009. Florida still stands at a critical juncture and needs your help. In the next legislative session we will decide whether to reinstate Florida’s outstanding tradition of public land preservation -- for the benefit of all Floridians and future generations.
